What is Pin Grading?
All pins are made by both machine as well as by human hand, and while no pin is perfect, each pin is carefully examined for quality control and graded accordingly.
◆ Colors may vary due to lighting, and/or between your computer monitor/phone screen and the actual physical product.
Pins are photographed in natural light.
A Grade : Also known as Standard grade, pins that are considered A Grade have little to no flaws or defects. These pins look nearly perfect!
B Grade : Also known as Seconds pins, B Grade pins have more noticeable defects than A Grade pins, and are sold at a discounted price.
Common examples of pins I consider to be Seconds/B Grade pins include (but are not limited to): missing metal on the sides, minor flaws in screenprinting, discoloration of enamel, small bubbles in the enamel, dust marks or scuffs.
◆ If there is no option to select an A Grade or B Grade pin, then you will be receiving an A Grade/Standard pin.
B Grades are not deeply flawed, so they're a great option for those who don't mind some flaws that are more noticeable for a discounted price!
